My Journey

 Hey! My name is Ethan Cummins.

My journey as an automotive designer is motivated by a lifelong passion for creating art and an appreciation for classic cars.

During high school, I enjoyed making artwork and attending local car shows, but I wasn’t sure what my next steps were. However, I participated in General Motors’ YMAD program and CCS Dunning Fellows summer program and set my goals and focused on automotive design.

I’ve had the opportunity to study Transportation Design at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and gain hands-on experience as an intern at General Motors. Now, I’ve recently graduated in December of 2024.

As I wait for my next opportunity, my goal is to constantly improve my skills, inspire others around me, and be a part of designing concepts that develop into reality!
